NestBoard does not train AI models on your household data, and the model providers behind Robin run on no-training tiers, so your messages are not used to improve anyone else’s models either. What we do not pretend: the founder reads Robin conversations as a matter of routine, because it is how we catch Robin answering badly. Our privacy policy sets out exactly how that works and how to switch Robin off.
The flat household subscription is how NestBoard gets paid, so there are no ads and no third-party advertising trackers in the app. We do run product analytics to see which features get used and where people get stuck, and that is never sold and never used for advertising. There are no tiers either, so nothing is held back behind a bigger plan.
Settings, then Privacy and Data, gives you a standard .ics file of your calendar that imports into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. The same place exports a complete copy of your household: members, events, chores, medications and lists. Deleting your account lives there too.
Sign up with an email, or with Google or Apple, and the first account becomes the head of household. A short wizard covers a theme, the household name, your timezone and a weather ZIP code, then the people you live with. Every step has a Skip link, so you can leave the rest for later and change all of it in Settings.

Yes. Mark a medication as shared and any of the listed members can log a dose, and the doses-remaining count auto-decrements so the bottle math stays right.
Yes. Kiosk mode shows the dashboard full-screen, idle mode rotates a photo slideshow, and the Android app from Google Play keeps it running natively.
No. NestBoard runs in any modern browser, so a spare laptop, an old tablet, or a phone you already own becomes the family screen. Mark a device you leave on as a kiosk and it shows the dashboard. No new hardware required.
Yes. Any time a device signs in to your account for the first time, we email you, with the device name, browser, and approximate IP. Each person gets the alerts for their own account, so a second adult sees theirs and you see yours.
Yes. Kid-mode seats are free and don't require an account. When you add a child, we ask you to confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and are consenting on their behalf, and we record the date you did.
